The B.Sc. Physics programme provides a strong foundation in core principles of physics while developing essential experimental, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Aligned with NEP 2020, the programme emphasises conceptual clarity, multidisciplinary learning, flexibility, and skill development.

Programme Details
- Duration:4 Years (8 Semesters)
- As per NEP 2020, with a credit-based structure and multiple entry–exit options.
- Seat Intake: As per L. N. Mithila University norms.
Multiple Entry–Exit (NEP 2020):
- Certificate after 1 Year
- Diploma after 2 Years
- Bachelor’s Degree after 3 Years
- Bachelor’s Degree with Research after 4 Years (where applicable)
Eligibility:
- 10+2 (Intermediate or equivalent) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects
- Minimum marks as prescribed by the affiliating university/government regulations
- Admission through a merit-based process, as applicable.
