The PhD programme in Physics is designed to promote advanced research and innovation in frontier areas of theoretical and experimental physics. The programme offers a robust research environment, supported by experienced faculty, academic mentoring, and access to state-of-the-art research facilities. Currently, the department has two experienced faculty members actively engaged in research supervision in the specialised areas of Foundations of Quantum Mechanics & Quantum Information Science, as well as Fibre and Integrated Optics.
